Meet Katrina Green: Friendly Neighborhood Data Analyst

As Grocery TV continues to grow, we want to highlight our employees, both new hires and established staff, to learn more about their roles, perspectives, and what makes them stand out.

This month we're talking to Katrina Green: Data Analyst! She reflects on what draws her to data analytics, GTV culture, and a special project she's excited to work on.

What excites you about working in data analytics?

I'm a naturally curious person and love learning.

What excites me about data analytics is the many possibilities out there to solve problems and answer our questions using data.

How would you describe Grocery TV's team culture?

The team culture at Grocery TV is welcoming in a way that allows everyone to show up to work authentically.

You can embrace your curiosity and continuously learn. If you happen to fail along the way— that's completely okay.

What’s the most rewarding part of your role?

I love being able to help others utilize data in a way that empowers them to make informed decisions.

It feels good to see the impact of analytics projects and reporting across the team.

Is there a project that you've been particularly eager to work on recently?

Recently, we updated the data on the demographics of our network.

Along with collecting the data for each of our stores, we were able to create several cool visuals to learn more about the audience that watches our displays.
